Chief ‘Aare’ Oluwasegun Oyewole Oyedijo

In the democratic spirit of fairness, equity, and balanced representation, the time has come to the spotlight Ibadan Less City in the political leadership of Oyo State. For far too long, the governance of our dear state has rotated within a narrow political circle, often overlooking the aspirations and capacities of our zone.

According to High Chief ‘Aare’ Oluwasegun Olalekan Oyewole Oyedijo Ibadan Less City, home to a significant population, rich culture, and notable contributions to the socio-economic fabric of Oyo State, has continually demonstrated loyalty, political participation, and development potential. Despite this, the zone has remained underrepresented in the highest of state leadership — the governorship.

It is no longer tenable to sideline zone that contribute immensely to the growth and unity of Oyo State.

Equity demands a fair chance for all zones to take part in governance, and Ibadan Less City stands ready with competent, visionary leaders capable of driving progressive agendas and inclusive growth.

We call upon political stakeholders, party leaders, and influential decision-makers to consider the strategic importance of inclusive representation. Let the 2027 governorship race mark a turning point — one where fairness overrides favoritism, and merit joins hands with regional balance.

This is not just a political request; it is a call for justice, unity, and progress. The people of Ibadan Less City are ready. Now, we seek a listening ear and a willing heart from those in power.

It’s our turn. Ibadan Less City deserves the centre seat at the table.
